Goran Dragic wants to move to Phoenix
Goran Dragic was picked at number 45 in the 2nd round of this year's NBA Draft but was traded to Phoenix straight away. The young slovenian combo-guard wants to move to Phoenix next season and play alongside Steve Nash according to the East Valley Tribune.
According to the article David Griffin who is Dragic's agent said that they will try to do whatever they can so that Dragic can play sooner rather than later for the Phoenix Suns. The buyout for Goran Dragic from Tau is 1.5 million dollars which is something that the Suns cannot afford this year. General Manager Steve Kerr, who had never seen Dragic before the workout, would rather not wait. “We’re going to roll up our sleeves and see what we can get done,” he said. “After what I saw, the sooner he gets here, the better.
Goran Dragic averaged 9.7 points 2.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists in the Euroleague this season in 13 games for Olimpija Lubljana.
