Shaun Stonerook stays in Siena
The american forward that is the cornerstone of Siena's defense, Shaun Stonerook will remain in Siena last year although he had offers from Barcelona and Panathinaikos but Minucci held his ground according to tuttobasket so the american power forward will remain in Siena.
Although undersized he is a player of the low-post and one of the best defenders in Europe. Coach Recalcati was considering Stonerook for the national team as he is eligible for an italian passport. Stonerook has been in Italy since 2001 when he first signed with Cantu and has remained in the country ever since.
Last year he averaged 6.6 points 5.3 rebounds 1.9 assists and 2.6 steals in 24 games in the Euroleague.
