Virtus Bologna steps in for Sharrod Ford

Virtus Bologna has decided to step up the offer to Sharrod Ford(2.06-PF) and now what was considered a closed deal between the american forward and the team from Treviso is a different story altogether.

Virtus stepped up the offer to a million dollars for 2 years according to mondobasket.it and by the looks of it will win the signature of one of the most valuable players in the italian league this year and certainly the best tall player. He averaged 13.8 pts 10 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots per game making him the leading shot blocker in the italian league as he also was also the leading blocker last year in Germany playing for Alba Berlin.

The italian league is on the rise again.
