Lottomatica Roma announced Brandon Jennings via their official website. The former high-school player will be arriving shortly in Italy to sign his contract with
Roma.
Roma was the first team to show interest in the young player according to his agent
Sonny Vacaro and there is an option for the player to play in the
NBA if he can secure a contract later on.
Jennings is one of the best point-guard prospects of his year but he decided to take the leap into Europe and skip college entirely. The 1.85 point guard averaged
35.5 points per game for
Oak Hill Academy this season and totaled a school-record 1.312 points.
