Alexander out, Gaines in?
Demetrius Alexander wasn't meant to play for Paok as he has one more year in his contract with Barons LMT. Although Paok foolishly announced the player hasn't signed a contract with the greek team. Barons LMT wasn't eager to release the player without a price and that puts Paok back in the hunt for an american power forward.
According to greek media the next target is Charles Gaines(2.01-PF), a player who although lacks in height (2.01m) he makes in ferocity and athleticism. He is a very capable rebounder. Gaines is a seasoned player in the european market having played for Reggio Calabria, Villerbane, Badalona and last season for Galatasaray.
Last season he averaged 12.9 points and 8.1 rebounds in 28 games in the turkish league.
