Gomis is a candidate for Malaga

According to solobasket.com Joseph Gomis(1.80-PG) is a candidate for Unicaja Malaga. Gomis was released by CB Valladolid as the spanish team was relegated to LEB Gold at the end of last season so they couldn't actually pay all of their player contracts. Among the players that were released were Joseph Gomis and Vasko Evtimov.

Gomis had a great season with Valladolid but the team didn't manage to stay in the ACB, he was in fact the 2nd best scorer in the ACB during the regular season with 18 points per game right after the impressive Rudy Fernandez. He has been playing for Valladolid for the last 3 seasons and before that he played for Leche Rio Breogan for another 3 seasons. Before moving to Spain he played in Evreux for 6 seasons and Nancy for one season. He is also a member of the France National Team.

He averaged 18 points 1.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 34 games for Valladolid.
