Le Mans announced Batista

Le Mans announced the addition of brazilian center Joao Paulo Batista (2.07-PF/C) for one season according to the Euroleague official website.

Batista arrives from Barons Riga of Latvia where last season he averaged 13.5 points and 6.1 rebounds. He started the season however with Lietuvos Rytas, where he played 11 Euroleague games for averages of 3.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in 8 minutes per game. Batista played college ball in Gonzaga from 2004 to 2006 and that same year he moved to Lithuania to join Lietuvos Rytas.
