Fortitudo Bologna found a replacement for Joseph Forte and he is combo guard
D.J. Strawberry(1.95-PG/SG) straight out of the
Houston Rockets training camp.
He graduated from
Maryland and in his last season in the
NCAA he averaged 14.9 points 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in 34 games. He was drafted in the second round, 59th overall, by the
Suns in the 2007 NBA Draft and was signed by
Phoenix for a 2 year contract. Since then he played in the NBDL for the
Thunderbirds and later on was traded to Houston. He averaged 2.2 points and 0.8 rebounds in 33 games for Houston.
