Marcus Brown is heading to Maccabi

According to infosports.lt, Marcus Brown is heading to Maccabi Tel Aviv and he may even be there in time to play in the first Euroleague game of the israeli team that wants to get rid of the contract of Tre Simmons.

Simmons didn't impress the coaching staff of Maccabi and he will be replaced by the looks of things by Marcus Brown, a rumor that seems to have spread in european sports media. Marcus Brown(1.91-SG) is a prolific scorer and currently the all-time leader of the scoreboards in the Euroleague as he has played 8 seasons and averaged 16.5 points in 140 games.. in this case the numbers speak for themselves.

Brown recovered from a disastrous season with Malaga in 2007, where he missed most of the games due to serious injuries, by stepping up the scoring for Zalgiris. The 34-year old veteran is going to have another busy year with Maccabi.
