Marcus Slaughter announced by STB Le Havre
Marcus Slaughter(2.03-PF) was waived by Bremenhaven and the official excuse was that he was eating fries and a hot dog 40 minutes before the game.. He didn't stay without a job for too long as earlier today he was announced by Le Havre who are trying to get back on their feet after a bad start in the french league.
Marcus Slaughter played for Hapoel Jerusalem and Gravellines last season while in the summer he tried his luck in the NBA summer camps and the Vegas Summer League but he didn't impress any NBA scouts enough. Marcus Slaughter is an athletic and agile power forward that is undersized for the NBA but good enough for the european courts. In his last season in the NCAA playing for the San Diego University he averaged 16.5 points, 11 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.0 blocks per game.
Last season in France he averaged 9.5 points and 7.2 rebounds in 15 games of the LNB. In the 7 games he got to play for Bremenhaven he averaged a staggering 17.3 points 9.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in 7 games.
