Khimki sacked Kemzura, to hire Scariolo?
Khmki announced the release of Kestutis Kemzura from his contract and now the lithunian coach is no longer the head coach of Khimki. Rumors speak of a conflict between him and the handsomely paid Carlos Delfino. In their announcement, the administration of Khimki thank Kestutis Kemzura for his contribution to the team and now Oleg Meleschenko will be acting as a head cocach until the replacement coach is announced.
Speaking of a replacement coach this will probably be Sergio Scariolo according to a few articles. One from marca.com that we spoke about earlier and another one from Gazzetta Dello Sport that speaks of a 3-year contract between Scariolo and Khimki.
Furthermore Sergio Scariolo spoke to Marca Radio and he said that his main priority is to secure the deal with Khimki and then he will consider becoming the head coach for Spain.
