Fortitudo announced Alex Scales


Fortitudo Bologna announced the signing of sharp-shooter Alex Scales (1.92-SG) via their official website. The american scorer played briefly for BC Kyiv replacing the injured Clay Tucker(1.92-SG). After his 3 month contract ended Scales remained a free agent.

Alex Scales played in Russia for CSK Samara last season and he also played for Aris during the season 2006-2007 in the greek league and also in the Euroleague. Scales also played in Korea, played briefly for Real Madrid but he never got his shot to play in the NBA although he was signed with 10-day contracts in the past. He averaged 15.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in 24 games in the russian Superleague for CSK Samara last season. He was also one of the top scorers in the Euroleague in season 2006-2007 in the regular season and the TOP-16. He averaged 10.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 8 games in the ukrainian Superleague.
