Stanojevic returns to Vojvodina
Jovo Stanojevic(2.07-C) returns to Vojvodina that he left back in 1996 and this will be the 3rd team he will be playing for this season after Besiktas and BC Kyiv. He started the season in Besiktas that released him as they were cutting back on costs. Later on he signed with BC Kyiv.
Stanojevic helped Prokom Trefl win the Polish League title last season. Before that he spent five seasons with Alba Berlin, during which he won one German League championships, two German Cups and was named to the all-star team three times. He has also played for Vojvodina Novi Sad, Red Star Belgrade and Partizan Belgrade in his native Serbia, as well as for Maccabi Ironi Ra'anana in Israel. As a member of the Yugoslavian national team, Stanojevic won the bronze medal at the 1999 European Championship.
He averaged 12.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in15 games of the ukrainian Superleague as a player of BC Kyiv.
