Panionios to reduce budget next season

According to greek media, Panionios are going to reduce their budget for the next season. The president of the team, Elias Lianos is rumored to invest next season, less money than this season that the team was participating in the Euroleague.

The head coach issue is not yet final, although it seems likely that coach Aleksandar Trifunovic will not be continuing his career on the bench of Panionios and a solution might appear in the name of a greek coach, namely Thanasis Skourtopoulos, formerly of Egaleo BC or Andreas Bartzokas that was the head coach of Olympia Larissa the last 3 seasons. Players like Aaron Miles will be back on the market; he only had a contract for this season. The same can be said for Lonny Baxter who will be a free agent also this summer.
