Andreas Glyniadakis(2.15-C) will be the first transfer for Olympiakos according to redplanet.gr. The greek portal that is affiliated to Olympiakos says that according to inside sources the first transfer that will be announced within the next few days, will be that of greek center Andreas Glyniadakis as it was predicted a few days ago. This development puts a new spin to the rest of the transfer scenarios for Olympiakos as Loukas Mavrokefalides(2.07-PF/C) is returning from his one season on-loan to Maroussi and that probably means that Ian Vouyoukas(2.11-C) will no longer have a spot in the roster of Olympiakos. Also that reinforces the rumors that Zoran Erceg(2.09-PF) will play on loan to a different team.
Glyniadakis who has played briefly for Panathinaikos in the beginning of his career sought the NBA dream but it was short lived and spent most of his time in the States playing in the NBDL. He returned to Greece and has been playing for Maroussi for the last two and a half seasons. He averaged 7.3 points and 3.8 rebounds and he accrued 32 blocks in 36 games in the
greek A1 league.
