Lithuanian newspaper Lietuvos Rytas published an article about the interest of Valencia in lithuanian big man Marijonas Petravicius(2.08-C). The article says that Petravicius has been offered a contract of 1.8 million euros for 2 seasons and the only thing that's left to do is to sign it.
Petravicius has been playing for Lietuvos Rytas for 3 seasons now and in Valencia he will find former coach of Lietuvos Rytas, Neven Spahija and also former teammate australian Matt Nielsen. Petravicius was the MVP of the team this season helping them conquer the Eurocup. He averaged 12.9 points and 6.9 rebounds in 15 games in the Eurocup, 13.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in 16 Baltic league games and 14.2 points and 6.2 rebounds in 22 games in the lithuanian league.
