Badalona brings back Antonio Bueno


DKV Joventut reached an agreement with center Antonio Bueno, who inked a two-year deal with the club. Bueno (209, 28) arrives from Alta Gestion Fuenlabrada, where he averaged 11.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 32 Spanish League games last season. Bueno already played for Joventut from 2001 to 2003. He averaged 12.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 10 ULEB Cup games in the 2002-03 season, in which Joventut made it to the semifinals.

Bueno has also played for Real Madrid, Estudiantes and Cajasol, as well as being a member of the Spanish national team. He helped Real Madrid to win the 2005 Spanish League title and make it to the 2004 ULEB Cup final, that the Whites lost against Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem. Bueno also helped Spain to win the 1999 World Junior Championships and reach the 2003 EuroBasket final.
