Bilbao announced Alex Mumbru(2.01-SF/PF) and Javi Rodriguez(1.89-PG) via their official website. These are 2 great transfers for Bilbao who get 2 very experienced players in their roster. Mumbru played for Real last season but he was released as he wasn't part of the Ettore Messina restructuring. Mumbru is also a member of the National Team of Spain and has also played for Badalona in the past. He averaged 7.6 points 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 19 games in the Euroleague and also 8.4 points 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the ACB with Real.
Rodriguez started his career in the Tau Baskonia academies and later on graduated from Boston College before returning to Spain. He has also played in Alava, Tau, Gijon, Breogan, Fuenlabrada and most recently Manresa, where he had one of best seasons in the ACB. The 30-year old veteran was the 2nd best in assists in the regular season behind Ricky Rubio(6.2) with 6.1 assists and leaving Pablo Prigioni in third place with 5 assists per game. He averaged 6.8 points 3.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists in 28 games in the regular season in the ACB. He has also been a member of the Spanish National Team.
