Telekom Baskets Bonn added size for its Eurocup return in the 2009-10 season by inking veteran center Chris Ensminger to a two-year deal, the club confirmed Tuesday. Ensminger (209, 35) arrives from Paderborn Baskets, where he averaged 11.4 points and 9.5 rebounds in 33 German League games last season. He registered 10 double-doubles and helped Paderborn to make it to the playoffs.
Ensminger has previously played for Brose Baskets Bamberg for seven consecutive seasons, winning two German League titles in 2005 and 2007, as well as making it to the finals in 2003 and 2004. He has also played for Mitteldeutscher BC and Weissenfels in Germany, North Harbour in New Zealand, Porto in Portugal and Tours in France since finishing his college career at Valparaiso University (NCAA). "There is nothing I need to say about Telekom Baskets Bonn," Ensminger said. "It is a great club with fantastic fans, a top club not only in Germany."
