Almost a Prince for Panathinaikos

Even though Evripidis Giazos is not currently the manager of Panathinaikos he never stops trying to help the Green Team. As reliable sources have it, acting on behalf of a potential sponsor who wanted to help the team return to the top, he actively pursued Epiphanny Prince. The All American point guard recently decided to forego her senior year at Rutgers University and play professional basketball in Europe.

Unfortunately for Greek basketball he did not succeed because various Euroleague Clubs have offered Prince an opportunity to showcase her talent. The most serious offers, as leaked by her immediate circle, were from Hungary (Mizo Pecs) and Turkey (Besiktas and Fenerbahce). So even though Turkey has never had a prince it is possible they may have one very soon. After all just a couple years ago another Rutgers alumnus, Cappie Pondexter, while playing for Fenerbache was the Turkish League’s MVP.
