Paok announced Lazaros Papadopoulos

If you thought that Lazaros Papadopoulos might return to Iraklis, think again. Paok announced earlier the signing of Lazaros Papadopoulos until the end of the season.

The Greek veteran center will be playing for Paok until the end of the season and he has agreed that his contract will be given to charity. Papadopoulos was released earlier this summer from Real Madrid and now he will offer his services to the team of Paok, that seem to be making a comeback after years of balancing precariously at the edge of relegation.

Papadopoulos started his pro career in Iraklis and after a short passage from Panathinaikos he returned to play for them for one season before leaving for Russia and Dynamo Moscow. Last season he played of loan from Madrid, for Fortitudo Bologna where he averaged 11.5 points 7.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 21 games for Fortitudo in the LegaA1.
