Spartak signed a three-year contract with the center player Goran Suton.
Born in 1985 in Sarajevo, Goran soon moved with his family to the Lansing, Michigan, U.S.A. Suton learnt to play basketball in the Everett school, Magic Johnson’s alma mater. Becoming a star in the team, Spartak’s new player transferred to student basketball and played in Michigan State.
In the season 2008-2009 Goran played 33 games, scoring 10.1 points in each game on the average, performing 8.2 rebounds, and demonstrating the following hit ratio: playing shots – 52.1%, three-point shots – 43.8%, foul shots – 84.8%. This year Suton was drafted by the NBA team Utah Jazz in the second round, participated in the Summer League in Orlando, and spent a pre-season training with the team. Last season his Michigan achieved the final of NCAA.
