Giorgos Tsiaras will be playing in the Czech Republic for the remainder of the season.
Giorgos Tsiaras(2.07-SF/PF) and Paok decided to mutually end their contract. The Greek forward told Greek media that he wanted to play and not sit at the bench and that's the reason that he left the team. Tsiaras signed the previous season a 3-year contract but major shareholder of the team decided to quit and left all the players out to dry.
Tsiaras played also for AEK and Olympia Larisa in the Greek league. He had his 2 best seasons in the league with Olympia. After head coach Soulis Markopoulos took over the team his playing decreased steadily. He preferred to use Christos Tapoutos instead who also plays the 2 forward positions. This season he has only played 11 games averaging a measly 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds. His next stop is Nymburk in the Czech republic that announced the transfer via their official website.
