Real Madrid signed yet another player..
This time it's former NBA player Morris Almond(1.98-SG/SF). The official announcement from Real is as follows:
Real Madrid has reached a deal with Maine Red Claws' guard Morris Almond, who signed a contract through the 2011/12 season.
Almond was selected by Utah in the 2007 NBA Draft at number 25. He played for them sparringly between 2007 and 2009 but he spent most of his time in the D-League where he recently played for the Maine Red Claws averaging 22.3 points and 5.6 rebounds in 20 games.
This means that Rimantas Kaukenas(1.94-SG) will soon be released from Real Madrid. The lithuanian scorer will be a free agent and he will be one of the best free agents in the European market. Kaukenas averaged 10.3 points 1.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 18 games in the Euroleague for Real.
