Aris want Tsaldaris and Sloukas

Now that they have a head coach they need to get some players too.

In Aris they want to have back Dimitris Tsaldaris(1.96-SG/SF). Tsaldaris was going to return to Aris last season but head coach Fotis Katsikaris decided to sign Ivan Paunic(1.95-SG) instead. This didn't turn out very well, because Katsikaris left the team of Aris for Bilbao and Paunic saw only very limited playing time after that. Aris was going to sign with Tsaldaris a 2.5 season contract back then according to sport.gr.

Tsaldaris started the season with Napoli but then they went bankrupt. After that he signed with Montegranaro and stayed with them until the end of the season averaging 7.8 points 1.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 22 games in the LegaA1. The consensus is that Tsaldaris will eventually return to Aris.

Aris are also after Kostas Sloukas(1.95-PG) of Olympiakos. They are interested to sign Sloukas with a loan agreement from Olympiakos but the case is frozen until Olympiakos get a new head coach that can make a decision on this.

On another issue, coach Priftis of Kavala BC wants to get Guy Skordilis(2.07-C) and Spiros Mourtos(1.99-SG) on a loan agreement but he is currently waiting for Sharon Drucker to evaluate the players. Sharon Drucker will arrive in Greece on Monday where he will be officially announced in a press conference by Aris.
