Green and Hosley got Georgian passports

But there can be only one playing for Georgia..

According to gazzetta.gr, Taurean Green(1.84-PG) and Quinton Hosley(2.01-SF), both got Georgian passports. Now they can play in Europe as Bosman status players.

Green was a player of AEK Athens this season and although the player hasn't been fully paid by AEK he did invest in a little something that would help his career. Green was selected in number 52 in the 2nd round of the 2007 Draft by Portland. Since then he didn't get much playing time and wandered between the NBA and the D-League. Green averaged 4.4 points 1.2 rebounds 0.6 assists in a total of 17 games in the NBA. In season 2008-2009 he played for Zaragoza in the ACB and he averaged 10.7 points 2.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 32 games. Green averaged 15.3 points 2.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 24 games in the Greek League for AEK.

Quinton Hosley remained in Turkey this season and played for Aliaga Petkim. His passing via Real Madrid didn't actually turn out as he had hoped. He has also played for Karsiyaka and Galatasary in Turkey. This season he averaged 18.1 points and 8 rebounds in 28 games in Turkey.

At the moment only of the two players will have the right to play for the Georgian National Team according to FIBA's rule.
