Printezis to stay in Malaga.. with a twist.

It seems like the most reasonable solution.


According to superbasket.gr, Giorgos Printezis(2.05-PF) will be staying in Malaga after all. Printezis has been a vital player for Malaga but he didn't perform as the highest paid player would have been expected to perform. The article says that Aito Reneses is very pleased with Printezis and he'd like to keep him in the team for the next 2 seasons.

The middle ground will be found in a 2-season extension for Printezis but with a reduced salary. Printezis in his first season in Malaga averaging 11.7 points and 4.3 rebounds in 12 games in the Euroleague and 9.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in 33 games in the ACB.
