Partizan Belgrade signed Slovenian national team guard Jaka Klobucar to a three-year contract on Monday.
Klobucar (198, 22) arrives from Union Olimpija in Slovenia where he averaged 2.3 points in nine Euroleague games and 5.9 points in the Adriatic League last season, his second with Olimpija. Klobucar, who was born in Novo Mesto, has played for Krka, Geoplin Slovan and Olimpija during his career. Among his career highlights are winning one Slovenian League and two Slovenian Cup titles with Olimpija and playing at EuroBasket 2007 and 2009 with the Slovenian national team.
"Klobucar is young and talented player who plays both guard positions," Partizan sporting director Dragan Todoric said. "Partizan has followed him for a long time and we are very happy that he is finally with us."
