Papadopoulos out, Vyaltsev in for Khimki

Out with the old, in with the new.

Greek center Lazaros Papadopoulos won't play in BC Khimki next season. The contract with Lazaros was signed up to the end of the 2010/2011 season. Now the agreement has been expired and new negotiations about the continuation of cooperation are not conducting. BC Khimki thanks Lazaros and wishes him all the best in his future career!

BC Khimki signed a two-year contract with Egor Vyaltsev, a shooting guard.

General Manager of our club Victor Bychkov has commented upon the first off-season transfer.
Victor Bychkov, BC Khimki General Manager:

Egor is a very interesting player with a good throw and good spurt, playing well as in defense as in attack. Vyaltsev was one of the most talented juniors in our country and now he is at his best playing age. We believe in BC Khimki he will be able to realize his talent and help the club achieve new success.
