It has begun..
The great battle of impressions and possibly transfer results has started for the 2 wealthy rivals of Greece. Their feud goes on like nothing else happens around them and the first player to be involved in that seems to be Michael Bramos(1.96-SG/SF). The Greek-American wing player who spent his last seasons in the ACB for Gran Canaria was previously implicated in rumors that were sending him to Olympiakos.
The last few hours different rumors sprung up in Greece saying that Panathinaikos stepped in and made an offer bigger than their rivals in an attempt to secure his signature. This is a reflex by Panathinaikos(if the rumors are true) to divert some of the attention away from their biggest loss yet. If Bramos signs it's a double result where they'd win a "cold war" battle against the rivals and also sign a player, whose full potential has not yet been reached. Bramos could well be a solid player of Panathinaikos for the next few seasons. Bramos is currently a free agent as his contract with Gran Canaria expired this summer. Last season he averaged 9.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 34 games in the ACB.
