Mirza Teletovic agreed NBA buy-out with Baskonia

Possibly for show..

According to Misko Raznatovic's twitter account, Mirza Teletovic(2.06-PF) has signed an NBA buy-out agreement with Baskonia. That means that if any team makes him an offer during the transfer period can also pay the buy-out in order to break his contract.

It's worth noting here that the maximum amount that any NBA team would pay to break the contract of a European player is 500,000 dollars. In this way Teletovic can rely on his current contract but also he has the opportunity to go and play in the NBA if he chooses to.

tubasket.com, reports that buy-out clause would be in the region of 2 million euros however that might seem unlikely as he would have to pay the difference. Teletovic went undrafted in 2007 and no NBA team has his rights. As he will be an NBA rookie it's also unlikely he will have a contract higher that his current one with Baskonia. There will be glory for him in the NBA but unless he's been in the league for a few years he'll be making better money in Europe.
