The youngest ever player to play in the big league.
In America they say you can't teach height and that is very true in the case of Georgios Papagiannis(2.12-C) of Peristeri who made a record of being the youngest ever player to play in the A1 league this past season. He was 14 years 6 months and 2 days old when he played for the first time in January against Panathinaikos. His height is currently 2.12 at the moment but chances are he could grow even taller.
Papagiannis played 6 games in total in the Greek league scoring 5 points. According to sport24.gr, Real Madrid has set sights on the player and want to add him to their existing players. They've made contact with the player already but it's uncertain what will come out of it. Papagiannis is one of the best Greek prospects of the 1997 batch and this development might kick other Greek teams into gear as well like Olympiakos and Panathinaikos. Papagiannis was a member of the U14 Greek National Team and he will be playing with the U16 counterpart now.
