Lottomatica Roma announced via their official site the signing of american power forward Andre Hutson. Hutson is one of the best power forwards in the european market and has had a long career in Europe mostly playing for greek teams. He has played for Panionios, Peristeri, Makedonikos and Maroussi in Greece, Ural Great in Russia and Napoli in Italy. His last team was Efes Pilsen from Turkey that he played for in the turkish league and the euroleague. The contract is for one-year.
"Hutson is a very experienced player, a good shooter with a soft touch who rebounds well," Roma general manager Dejan Bodiroga said. "He is a power forward that can also help us at the center spot. He has proven to be a reliable player and has a great season with Efes. He will help us a lot this season."
Hutson averaged 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in 19 games in the euroleague last season.
