Roma and Panionios reached agreement

Roma and Panionios reached an agreement over Ibrahim Jaaber. The greek team finally managed to get what they wanted. According to sport24.gr Panionios will be getting a compensation of 400.000 euros for the transfer of Jaaber to Roma. The visit of Dejan Bodiroga to Athens to meet with president Elias Lianos of Panionios has payed off.

These rumors are unconfirmed but it seems that Roma will prefer to settle this sooner than later, by paying a compensation to Panionios instead of taking this matter to court. The history behind cases like these is not in Roma's favor so this might have been the most prudent option. If this finally goes through then Ibrahim Jaaber will be ready to play for Roma in the italian league and the Euroleague.
