Macijauskas and Olympiakos locked horns..

The lithuanian superstar, Arvydas Macijauskas, who came as the messiah that will give the championship to Olympiakos is now considered an outcast to the team and he is not backing down claiming his entire contract for the next 2 years.

The recent court battle's outcome was that Olympiakos cannot dismiss Macijauskas' contract from the team as he wasn't officially summoned for explainations before the administration of Olympiakos decided to kick him out of the team and start proceedings to get rid of his contract. But the former Hornets player is not budging. He wants to "sit" on his lucrative contract that gives him 2.2 million euros per season.

He has stayed out of action this entire season and recently he told the lithuanian newspaper Lietuvos Rytas that this has been one of the worst years of his life. The truth is quite simple though. He won't budge, they won't budge and that's it. Besides, not many people would complain making 2.2 million euros per year just to train by themselves.
