Uros Slokar signed with Olimpija Lubljana

Slovenian League champion Union Olimpija improved its frontcourt for the upcoming 2009-10 season by inking a one-year deal with power forward Uros Slokar on Monday morning.

Slokar (210, 26) arrives from Fortitudo Bologna, where he averaged 4.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in 3 Eurocup games last season. He has also played for Triumph Lyubertsy in Russia, the Toronto Raptors in the NBA, Benetton Treviso and Snaidero Udine in Italy, as well as for Geoplin Slovan in his native Slovenia.
