Lietuvos Rytas added another point guard to their roster.
The announcement of the transfer of Greek/Serbian point guard Igor Milosevic(1.92-PG) came today from Lietuvos Rytas and the contract will last 1.5 seasons. The rumors about his transfer started last summer and now Milosevic will be a player of Lietuvos Rytas for the next 1.5 seasons. He will try to fill the gap that the departure of Bojan Popovic left behind.
Milosevic began his professional career in 2003 with the greek league club Iraklis. After spending 3 seasons with Iraklis he moved to the serbian league club in Red Star Belgrade in 2005. After spending 3 seasons with Red Star he moved to Oympiakos in 2008. This season he started playing for Maroussi BC averaging 4.6 points and 1.8 assists in 11 games in the Greek league. Fanis Koubouras will be taking his place in Maroussi returning from a serious injury in the summer during the Mediteranean Games where Milosevic and him played for the Greek National Team.
