Mamadou Samb will participate in the NBA Draft

Mamadou Samb wants to follow his brother's footsteps.

According to marca.com, Mamadou Samb(2.08-PF/C) will enter the 2010 NBA Draft just like his brother Cheikh Samb(2.16-C) did back in 2006 when he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2nd round at number 51. Samb is originally from Senegal but he was naturalized as a Spanish citizen in 2008 and he has even participated in the Youth National Teams of Spain. He belongs to the team of Barcelona.

This past season he played for Basquet Cornella in LEB Gold where he averaged 12.4 points 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 33 games. He is currently travelling to Treviso where he will be participating in the Reebok Eurocamp. He is being represented by Andy Miller who is the owner of ASM Sports that also represents Sergio Lllull and Rudy Fernandez in the States. Samb is considered a great prospect of Spain although he just arrived in the country 8 years ago he has made his way now to the doorstep of the NBA.
