After that he returned to Italy signing with Benetton Treviso and averaging 7.4 points 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 10 games. Jon Stefansson returns to Iceland

Jon Stefansson(1.95-SG) formerly of Lottomatica Roma will be returning to Iceland and KR Reykjavik according to basketcentral.it. It might seem odd that a Euroleague class player is signing a contract to play in one of the weakest leagues in Europe but Jon Stefansson has had a few injuries throughout last season that didn't allow him to reach his full potential. Perhaps staying in Iceland will still keep him in shape and allow him to recouperate fully from last season's injuries.

Stefansson averaged 10 points and 2.3 rebounds in 15 games in last season's Euroleague with Lottomatica Roma.
