Kostas Papanikolaou heading to Houston?

Now it's as good time as any.

According to the twitter feed of David Pick, Kostas Papanikolaou(2.03-SF/PF) could be heading to the Houston Rockets for a 2 season deal.

The Greek forward signed a contract with Barcelona last season that has an NBA-out clause and this could be the summer that he'll be making the next logical step in his career. He's won a lot of titles for someone who is only 24 years old and he is in a good condition both physically and mentally to make it to the world's toughest league. He certainly has the physical tools and the fundamentals he requires to make it out there and truth be told his style of play would suit the NBA as it has suit the ACB.

Papanikolaou won the ACB title this season with Barcelona averaging 6.6 points 4 rebounds and 1 assists in 40 games in the ACB. His rights have been traded to Houston who could now be the next logical step in his career starting from Aris, to Olympiakos and now to Barcelona.
