France wants Maljkovic to lead them

The basketball federation of France has got only one target for the position of the head coach, Bozidar Maljkovic. The serbian coach who won the Champions Cup (now known as Euroleague) with Limoges in 1993 is very popular in France as he also coached Racing Paris in 1998.

He is considered to be one of the most successful european coaches as he has won 6 international (4 Euroleague titles) and 14 National level titles. France was devastated by their national team's inability to qualify directly in the Eurobasket 2009 and they want to make sure that this won't happen in 2009 as well.
