Another name has to be added to the long list of candidates for the bench of Olympiakos.
Svetislav Pesic is no stranger in European basketball. He's already got a triple crown with Barcelona in 2003 and although his latter career choices weren't very successful he is still one of the best European coaches available. According to basketnet.gr, Pesic is currently on the top of the list of the Aggelopoulos brothers, who want to be more careful this time with their choice of head coach. Pesic does fill a few tick boxes, because of his vast collection of titles in both domestic and national team level.
He has worked for Bosna Sarajevo, Alba Berlin, Koln 99ers, Barcelona, Virtus Roma, Girona, Dynamo Moscow and as of late he worked for Red Star Belgrade. He has also been a coach for the German and the Yugoslavian National Teams. The 60-year-old coach has two European trophies behind his belt with the national team of Germany and Yugoslavia and was also the World champ with the Yugoslavian team in 2002.At the club level, Pesic won the triple crown in 2003 with FC Barcelona.
