Hapoel Holon signed Dwayne Mitchell

Dwayne Mitchell (27, 1.96) is the fourth foreign player of Hapoel Holon for 09/10.

Mitchell began his colegiate career at Auburn University and after one season moved to Louisiana-Lafayette where he graduated at 2006 after registering 16.6 pts, 8.2 reb and 4.3 assists per game in his last season.

He began his proffesional career in French Racing Paris (11.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 2.4 apg). in 07/08 he began in Iowa from the NBDL and in the middle of the season moved to German Bamberg (10.3 pts, 3.4 reb, 2.4 ass per game)

Last season he had a contract from Los Angeles Lakers but was waived before the start of the season and joined Los Angeles D-fenders from the NBDL. He had a good season there with 18.6 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 4.3 apg and 1.9 spg. His season high was 43 pts vs. Colorado.
