Branislav Djekic (205-F/C-91), one of the top prospects in Europe, signed a long-term contract with BC Partizan Igokea Beograd. Djekic for the last couple of years played for the young team of FMP Zeleznik and has been a standard member of the Serbian U16 and U18 National Teams.
Spanish teams Caja Laboral (ex Tau Ceramica) and Regal Barcelona also wanted to sign the young prospect, but at the end he decided to join the Serbian powerhouse and work under the coach Dusko Vujosevic.
