Kavala to replace Alexander and Shields

New head coach in Kavala, bringing new players.

According to the new head coach of Kavala BC, Vangelis Alexandris, Richard Shields(1.92-SG) and Demetrius Alexander (2.03-SF/PF) will be released from the team. Alexander was late to return to the team after the holiday period and his absence cost his team a very important victory and Shields seems to be redundant for the backcourt of Kavala that has 3 more shooting guards (Iliadis, Kiritsis, Huff).

Coach Alexandris spoke to the main site of the Greek Federation and he said that they will try to replace them as soon as possible. Shields averaged 10.4 points 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 9 games. Alexander averaged 12.3 points and 6 rebounds in 8 games.
