Erik Daniels offered to Aris

Erik Daniels of Azovmash has been offered to Aris Thessaloniki who are also looking to lend Dragan Labovic.

According to athlitikanea.gr, Erik Daniels(2.04-SF/PF) has been offered to Aris Thessaloniki and David Blatt is considering his case. Daniels is currently playing for Azovmash Mariupol in Ukraine averaging the impressive figures of 16.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in 16 games of the Ukrainian Superleague.

He first came to Europe three years ago to play for Biella in the Italian League, averaging 16.8 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2 assists per game. His rebounding totals were second best in the league. From there he moved to Virtus Roma, but missed the start of the season due to a wrist injury and wound up appearing in only two Euroleague games. Midseason he moved to Girona where he recorded 8.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 19 minutes over seven ULEB Cup games to help his club finish as the competition’s runner-up. Daniels first rose to stardom at the University of Kentucky, where he was the second best scorer on the team during his senior season with 14.5 points per game. He also played in the NBA for Sacramento in 2004-05 season.. Chances are that Aris won't sign another player until a team for Dragan Labovic(2.07-PF) has been found because the space of a non-Greek player needs to be free.
