Slokar moves from Olimpija to Siena

Uros Slokar and Olimpija parted ways mutually. Next stop is Siena.

The official site of Olimpija hosted the announcement that Uros Slokar(2.09-PF) will no longer be a player of the Slovenian team and that he will be signing with another team abroad.  The announcement says that the contract was mutually broken and so Slokar will be able to continue his career elsewhere. Thus Olimpija will be saving some money and Slokar will be getting a bigger paycheck.

Slokar has played in Italy for Benetton Treviso, Udine and Fortitudo Bologna, he has played in Russia for Triumph Lyubertsy and he had a short pass via the NBA and the Toronto Raptors for one season but the NBA was no place for him .This season he returned to Slovenia playing for Olimpija and he is also a member of the National Team of Slovenia. He has averaged so far 6.2 points 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 10 games in the Euroleague for Olimpija.

Shortly after his transfer to Siena until the end of the season, was announced by the official website of Siena.

Hello mate!

I'm a bit surprised. I thought they could do better than Slokar. He's not the most athletic forward out there.. anyhow time will tell.

sienna took what it could afford right now.it is obvious that they need pounds under the basket.my worst concern is if slocar has any motivation anymore..
