Maccabi to give away Richard Hendrix on loan?

He has a 2 season closed contract.

According to walla.co.il, Maccabi Tel Aviv are trying to make some more space in their rotation for Milan Macvan(2.06-PF/C) so they're trying to find a way to get rid of Richard Hendrix(2.03-PF/C). Hendrix was signed by Maccabi before David Blatt and the American forward/center was never fully in the plans of Blatt. One option that was also mentioned in Greece and the article from walla.co.il is for Hendrix to play on loan for Aris BC in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Head coach of Aris BC, Sharon Drucker was the assistant coach of Maccabi TA last season and has still very good relations with Maccabi and David Blatt so the option of him to play there for the rest of the season is very possible. If this were to happen then Richard Hendrix would replace Bryant Dunston(2.01-PF) because of the limit of non-European players in the Greek A1 league. Hendrix averaged 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 9 games in the Euroleague in only 11.6 minutes of playing time. Let's not forget this is the Revelation player of the ACB of last season where he dominated the floors as a player of Granada. Aris would welcome Hendrix's addition for the next stage in the Eurocup.
