Young forward Omri Casspi is close to renewing with Maccabi Tel Aviv for another 2 years. Other european teams sought to sign him as his contract with Maccabi had ended but he chose to remain close to home according to israeli media.
Casspi averaged 4.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 24 games in the Euroleague's last season.
