One big mess with Goran Dragic
Goran Dragic signed a contract with Tau Ceramica in the summer of 2006 after paying a 30.000 euros buyout to Geoplin Slovan the team that he initially played for. According to the slovenian site 24ur.com the slovenian judicial system has reversed the decision that sold Dragic to Tau by saying that Tau needs to negotiate with Geoplin now in order to gain the rights of the player for next season.
Slovenian sources mention that if Geoplin re-acquires the rights to the player then they will set a 500.000 dollars buy-out on him in order to sell him either to Olimpija or Phoenix. Is this a coincidence that this happens while Dragic wants to break out of his contract with Tau and move to Phoenix who have his NBA rights? Judicial problems are not something new to slovenia as there were problems with the case of Miha Zupan as well.
